Position: Litigation and Family Solicitor and/or Chartered Legal Executive (+3 PQE)
Job Description:
- Managing a mixed caseload of litigation matters and family law files from instruction to resolution
- Advising clients on disputes including contract issues, property matters, debt recovery, and contentious probate
- Drafting pleadings and legal documents including statements of case, applications, witness statements, and settlement agreements
- Conducting advocacy at hearings where appropriate
- Liaising with counsel, experts, and third parties
- Negotiating settlements and representing clients in mediation
- Handling family law matters such as divorce, financial remedy and cohabitation agreements/disputes.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm-wide procedures
- Contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships
Position: Audio Typist/Administrator
Job Description:
- Perform accurate audio typing of legal documents, and correspondence on our case management system.
- Manage data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date client records.
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, scanning, organising documents, scheduling appointments and managing diaries.
- Handle phone calls professionally, addressing client inquiries and directing calls as needed.
- Support the team with various clerical tasks to ensure efficient office operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an audio typist or in a similar administrative role. with a high level of accuracy and speed.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and in a fast-paced environment.
